Nora Miller, Executive Editor
Hi! My name is Nora Miller. I'm a senior, and an Executive Editors for The Evanstonian, overseeing the Arts & Entertainment, Feature, and Photo & Art sections. In my four years on The Evanstonian staff, I have written, illustrated, and served as an Entertainment columnist and Arts & Entertainment editor. In my free time, I love taking walks in the forest preserve, drawing my friends and family, and cooking vegan meals. The Evanstonian energizes me because I'm able to share the stories of my classmates and citizens of the Evanston community.
Jojo Wertheimer, Digital Content Editor
Hi! My name is Jojo Wertheimer (she/her) and I am a Digital Content Editor for the Evastonian. This is my fourth year on the staff of the newspaper, and previously I have been an Arts and Entertainment Editor, Social Media Editor, and a staff writer. The Evanstonian has been an imperative part of my high school experience; I love the community, the energy, and the journalistic process. Outside of the newspaper, I have a part time job at Play It Again Sports Evanston and I am on the ETHS SHAPE (Sexual Assault Prevention Education) board. This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern with the local newspaper the Evanston RoundTable. I really enjoyed being able to explore different kinds of journalism and work on a local publication. In my free time, I love to hang out with friends and family, run and workout, read, listen to music, watch TV, and spend time outside, especially at the beach. I am also a big foodie and love to eat out around Evanston. I look forward to producing articles I’m proud of this year and hopefully continuing with journalism in my time past ETHS.
Ingrid Halverson, Digital Content Editor
My name is Ingrid Halverson (She/her) and I am currently a senior at ETHS. This is my fourth year as a writer for the Evanstonian and this year I am the digital media co-editor. I have lived in Evanston my whole life and I am the youngest of three siblings. I have always had a passion for writing, so joining a club involving a creative way to write was an easy choice for me. Since Freshman year the Evanstonian has been a welcoming and uplifting community where I have felt pushed to further my love for writing. Outside of the Evanstonian, I am on the ETHS varsity tennis team, Wildkit buddies, and community service club.
Kayla Drajpuch, Staff Writer
My name is Kayla Drajpuch (she/her/hers), I’m a junior, and I am a staff writer for the Arts and Entertainment section of The Evanstonian. I have been on staff for three years. I love writing for A&E because it gives me an outlet for all of my opinions on books, movies, and television (of which I consume copious amounts). In my free time, I run cross country and do congressional debate. Outside of school, you can find me listening to Courtney Barnett, reading, and hanging out with my friends. (Very occasionally, though. Introverts unite!)
