Lisa Edwards
Grateful.
That is the one word that comes to mind when Lisa Edwards reflects on her time here at ETHS.
Edwards has been working at the school for 33 years as a special education’s teacher for freshmen. She started in 1983, and remembers each day as fondly as her first.
“A lot of things have changed, but what you do with the students is basically the same,” explains Edwards. “I really do enjoy it as much as when I first started. I look back at all the pictures of the kids on my walls and they bring back memories, and that is what I’ll miss the most.”
“Lisa Edwards is fair, kind and serene. She expects her students to do their best and she gives her absolute best every single day,” says Leslie Wenzel, special education teacher.
