Educate Girls Everywhere launches third campaign

Educate Girls Everywhere is a student-run platform that raises money and awareness for nonprofits that work to educate girls in underserved communities.

Past campaigns have raised nearly $8000 for girls in Belize and Zambia.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing profound negative learning impacts, especially on younger students, EGE is working a little closer to home. The third campaign, Turn the Page, is benefitting the national literacy nonprofit, Reach Out and Read (ROR). ROR partners with doctors to emphasize the importance of reading aloud to children and gives books to families, reaching millions of children every year; one-quarter go to low-income families.

From March 1 to March 22 you can support this campaign by visiting educategirlseverywhere.org. There, you can buy themed merchandise such as beanies, protective masks and stickers, or donate directly to Reach Out and Read.
