ETHS announces changes to Deans, Human Resources, Student Services
There have been numerous administrative and staffing changes that have occurred within the last month. The primary changes occurred within the Deans’ offices, Human Resource offices, and the Student Services Department. According to an ETHS email sent to students on Nov. 2, these changes were designed “as part of our ongoing work to cultivate a positive school culture & climate.”
The new title for Deans is now “Dean of Student Success, Safety and Wellbeing,” which applies to the following staff members: Pedro Soriano (Class of 2025), Nichole Boyd (Class of 2024), Aracely Canchola (Class of 2023) and William Shanahan (Class of 2022).
The Deans’ office welcomed staff members Nichole Boyd (former Student Activities Coordinator) and Aracely Canchola (former Student Services Department Chair).
Following the leave of Chief Human Resources Officer Toya Campbell and Assistant Chief of Human Resources Yolanda Hardy, Scott Bramley (current Associate Principal for Instruction and Literacy) assumed the position of Acting Human Resources Director. Additionally, as of the start of the 2021 school year Angela Gardner (former Recruiting Manager) has been promoted to Associate Director of Human Resources Operations.
Moreover, the Student Services team welcomed Cynthia Fuerte and Anthony King (former Dean), in addition to their intervention coordinator positions within the ETHS administration. None of these positions were made publicly available for applicants.
This is an ongoing story; The Evanstonian will continue to report any information about these changes in future issues.
