Cash Nelson, Sports Writer

Hey! I’m Cash Nelson (he/him). I’m a junior and I write sports articles here at the Evanstonian. During the fall, I play linebacker for our football team, and as a journalist, I love covering a sport that I played for most of my life, basketball. The Evanstonian community is full of people with various passions, and I feel like there’s a strong sense of bond, especially in the sports department. Writing about sports also combines a lifelong obsession with athletics and intellectual curiosity and the Evanstonian gives me the best in both worlds.
