Hi, my name is Nicole Saenz (she/her) and I am a freshman. This is my first year participating in The Evanstonian, in the section of Arts and Photography. Some other clubs that I am involved in include: being a member of Model UN, Latinex Quest, and a Fencing athlete.  I enjoy watching movies, drinking milkshakes, roller skating, and going to concerts with friends! My interest in The Evanstonian came from a senior who inspired me to join. After hearing about the opportunity to create my own art, I wanted to communicate different stories to the public with it. There is no better way to capture a reader’s attention than by a visual that speaks louder than words.
