Katy Donati, Executive Editor

My name is Katy Donati and I’m a senior at ETHS. I am one of three current Executive Editors of the Evanstonian and have been writing for the paper for three years. In addition to the newspaper, I am also on my school’s varsity soccer and swim teams. Outside of school, I like going to the beach (when it is nice out), getting food and hanging out with friends. While I love writing, the newspaper has also provided me with the unique opportunity to get involved and learn more about both my school and my community.

In the fall of 2017, Lowe and The Evanstonian staff published six issues together prior to Lowe’s early retirement in December of that year. Though Lowe was often absent due to recurring health issues, the staff was able to produce more issues than in a typical year as Lowe continued to push his students to create the best product possible, just like he had for the 30 years prior.
