Michael Wylie

After 15 years of working as the Metal Sculpture and Auto Technology teacher at ETHS, car-fanatic Michael Wylie has decided to drive off into retirement.
“The thing I will miss most about teaching is having the privilege to mold a small part of people’s lives,” Wylie explains.
Wylie’s passion has always been about cars. He worked as an Automotive Technician in several shops, worked on exotic car restoration and did general dealership repair work before becoming a teacher.
As far as what he plans to do in the years after retirement, Wylie plans to spend his time drag racing, road course racing, playing the guitar, travelling, making art and staying in touch with former students and staff members.
